Grama Panchayat

Grama Panchayat is a local self-government institution. It is the main administrative system that ensures the development and welfare of the people.

President

The President is the chief administrator of the Panchayat. He leads the development activities and administrative procedures of the Panchayat.

Vice President

Provides cooperation in administrative activities. Performs administrative duties in the absence of the President.

Standing Committees

Committees that control activities in the areas of development, finance, health, education, and welfare.

Development Standing Committee

Implements the development plans of the Panchayat. Aims at people's welfare and infrastructure development.

Finance Standing Committee

Controls the income and expenditure of the Panchayat and supervises the financial activities.

Welfare Standing Committee

Junior Superintendent

Accountant

Clerk

Handles files, applications, tax collection and office registers.

Senior Clerk

Supervises office records and administrative procedures and coordinates the activities of various sections.

Office Attendant

Handles documents, arranges office, and performs general support functions.

1. Gram Sabha

The Gram Sabha is the general meeting of the people of the panchayat. It discusses development projects, public needs, and welfare activities.
