Grievance Redressal Mechanisms
The following mechanisms are mainly available in Panchayats for the public to submit complaints regarding services and get redressal:
For the People: This is a system that helps in submitting complaints regarding services provided by local self-government bodies and monitoring the procedures online. The For the People portal can be used for information and submission of complaints.
Online Public Grievance Redressal: Complaints can be registered online through the official Public Grievance Redressal Mechanism of the Panchayat Department. Information of officials of various offices is also available here.
Panchayat Office (Direct Submission): Complaints can be submitted in writing directly to the Panchayat Secretary or the concerned Section Clerks. In addition, special complaint boxes will be installed in the Panchayat offices for this purpose.
